Deca Continuous (1x10)
THE RACE
The Deca Ultratriathlon of the «Continuous» variant leads over a total distance of 2,260 kilometers which corresponds to 10 times the triathlon long distance. The disciplines are completed in one piece: first 38 kilometres swimming, then 1800 kilometres cycling and finally a tenfold marathon (422 km running).

TIME LIMITS
The total time limit is 338 hours (14.1 days).
Swimming: Friday, 25 August 2023, from 6 p.m. to Saturday, 26 August 2023, 12 p.m. midnight (30 hours)
Cycling: Saturday, 2 September 2023, 12 p.m. midnight
Running / finish: Friday, 8 September 2023, 8 p.m.

REGISTRATION
Registration is open until 15 July 2023.
Refund possibilities:
- If the cancellation is received by 31 May 2023, 50% of the total entry fee will be refunded.
- In the event of illness or accident, 50% of the total entry fee will be refunded if an athlete deregisters by 11 July 2023 and presents a medical certificate. After that date, no refund is possible anymore.
ENTRY FEE
The entry fee for the Deca «Continuous» is CHF 3,200. Behind the swissultra is a non-profit association that organizes competitions with a lot of heart and soul and in volunteer work. The goal is that all competitions are self-supporting. The entry fees, along with sponsorship money, make a significant contribution to being able to offer high quality and an "all inclusive" service.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
1st installment: 50% ( CHF 1'600) of the entry fee must be paid in installments by 31.03.2023 at the latest.
2nd installment: 100% ( CHF 3'200) of the entry fee must be paid by 31.05.2023 at the latest.
For registrations after 31.05.2023 the full entry fee is due.

- Meals: Sandwiches, soup and up to two hot meals per day, including salad and dessert.
- The kitchen is open 24 hours
- 1-2 food stands on the track with water, other drinks, snacks and fruits (the range of food and drinks is depending on the weather).
- Food and drinks for all athletes at the pre race briefing event including up to 2 accompanying persons per athlete.
- Fully covered transition zone with refrigerators, freezers, warm showers and toilets nearby.
- Electricity and Internet access (WLAN) in the supporter area.
- Massage service (upon availability of massage therapists).
- Illumination of the running track and supporter area during the night.
- Start package with goodies.
- Finisher trophy, finisher shirt and other gifts.
- Athlete presentation and award ceremony at the competition area beside the swimming pool Rheinau.

- Free entry to the swimming pool area for all athletes and supporters.
- Massage service (upon availability of massage therapists).
- Illumination of the running track and supporter area during the night.
- Start package with goodies.
- Finisher trophy, finisher shirt and other gifts.
- Athlete presentation and award ceremony at the competition area beside the swimming pool Rheinau.

REGULATIONS
All Swissultra races are part of the IUTA World Cup 2023. Swissultra accepts the official IUTA rules. The Swissultra regulations are an addition to the IUTA rules.

IUTA WAIVER
The IUTA waiver must be signed by each participant before the competition and submitted to the organiser, either at the briefing or online (photo or scan to info@swissultra.ch).

Medical certificate swissultra – DECA Continuous The medical certificate has to be handed over to the event organizer during the briefing, or be sent in advance by email to info@swissultra.ch. Without the medical certificate and the signed waiver of liability an athlete will not be allowed to participate in the race. You can also bring your own valid medical certificate that must not be older than 1 year. |
